The FG Knot is a ridiculously strong mainline braid to fluorocarbon leader connector knot. I’ve never had one break, and it flies off your reel and through your guides effortlessly. But… it’s not easy to tie…. and good luck trying to tie on a leader in high wind/waves.
MLF Pro, Brent Ehler has by far the easiest way I’ve found to tie the FG Knot. So easy I think I could do it in high wind/waves.
